FIRST SWIMMING LESSON

Tonight was your very first swim lesson, Henry.  We have classes for the next 6 weeks, they are only 30 minutes long, and we are taking them at the downtown Y.  We realize you won't actually be able to swim (you may surprise us), but we really just want you to get used to the water and it's never too early to start!  

LET'S DO THIS, MOM!!!

 You were a bit overwhelmed with all of the new sounds and sights going on in that pool area!!

 "The wheels on the bus go UP and DOWN, UP and DOWN, UP and DOWN"

 "JUMPING" in...

 YOU WENT UNDER WATER FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!!!!  (we were both hesitant to do it, but daddy pulled through)....you needed a cuddle once that was done :)

 And Daddy needed this smile from you to tell him everything was okay.  

Our Little Shark....YOU did an amazing job tonight, Henry.  We are so proud of you!

B-A-N-A-N-A-S

Out of all the food we make for you, you love bananas.  We started with puree, but decided to let you try and eat an actual banana.  Daddy and Mommy were both close by, and we started with giving you little chunks you could mush with your teeth.  By the end, you had the banana in your hand and feeding yourself.  It was awesome!

You tried your hardest to crawl/pull yourself over to Max to "pet" him, but as soon as you got there, he took off :(

I can't deny the fact that you look super adorable in any MSU gear we put you in...it makes me not mind it as much ;)

WHAT GEORGE DOES, I DO!

Daddy took this picture during one of your naps when he went in to check on you.  He thought it was pretty darn cute how you and George are in the exact same position.

I love how you have been holding your bottles lately.  You take the bottle out of our hands and then curl those fingers in to make fists and you down your 6 ounces within a few minutes.  I'm not sure how you make it work, but you do!

UNCLE DEAN FLIES OUT

We had Uncle Dean, Nana, Amy, Dave, Connor, and Hayley over for chili and sandwiches before Uncle Dean flew back to Idaho.  He really enjoyed spending more time with you and he couldn't believe how much you have grown since he last saw you in July.  He did a pretty good job feeding you, not too messy :)

 At first, I thought Mikey wanted to help....

 I quickly realized that was not the case, he wanted Uncle Dean's attention!!
